The Texas Indo-American Physicians Society, Southwest Chapter (TIPS-SW) will hold its third annual mega charitable banquet this year benefiting the AAPI Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Presented in conjunction with the TIPS Alliance and the India Association of San Antonio (IASA), this event will take place at the Morgan's Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive, San Antonio, TX,78233 on Saturday, December 3, 2011.

The proceeds from the Silent Auction will help fund the
  1. Haven For Hope
  2. AAPI Charitable Foundation which runs seventeen free clinics in India and five free clinics in the United States,
  3. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  4. IASA.


As we plan our summer getaways and travel the globe, bear in mind our culture loves one-of-a-kind art, handicrafts, unique specialty fabrics and textiles, as well as those items that remind them they belong to three cultures: Indian, American, and South Texan. Tickets to sporting events (especially box/suite) and memorabilia (signed game balls) are all excellent silent auction items sure to fetch a worthy price.

Whether your role will be to make a donation of an item or items yourself, to solicit items or simply bid on them at the event, we owe it to ourselves to maximize the enjoyment and proceeds the silent auction can bring to the event. Please tell all your friends to be on the lookout for eligible treasures in their closets, attics, or during their travels this summer. Donations to the AAPI Charitable Foundation are tax deductible.

All items should be in by November 01, 2011 for inventory.
